795 Hope Street
Providence, Rhode Island

After reading about Frog & Toad in Apartment Therapy, Bear and I decided to check it out for ourselves. We packed one of her friends along for the ride, too.
It turns out that this is a great, eclectic shop, not only for decor, but clothing and gifts.

Toys, jewelry and t-shirts snuggle cheek-by-jowl alongside paintings, sculpture and refrigerator magnets. I've decided that each time we visit a new town in Rhode Island, we're going to get a magnet. And if we can't find one in town, we'll certainly find one in this shop:

We've already scoped out gifts for various family members' birthdays, Christmas and so forth. The prices range from two or three dollars, into the hundreds, so you're sure to find something for any budget and any personality.

I just wanted to add this shot, too. There was an entire section that seemed to be taken over by owls of all descriptions and media.
We'll be visiting Frog & Toad a lot. It's a real treasure in the Hope Street shopping district.
