1. Tell us about your work
I am an editorial and fine-art portrait photographer. I shoot portraits using natural light on-location and take pride in presenting honest and dignified images of people. I also make portraits of dogs; a special love of mine.

2. How did you come to be a professional artist/crafter?
People make art because they have to. I’m not doing it to retire young and rich! I love meeting people and presenting them with a unique work of art that captures at least a tiny bit of who they are.

3. Where do you draw your inspiration?
Many photographers, both of the past and working currently. I routinely read/scan other photographers’ blogs and websites.

4. What’s your favorite item to make?
A fine-art portrait.

5. What’s your best seller?
Portraits, although my landscape work has done well. I don’t do so much of that any more.
