Providence's Gallery Night is a great way to see what's new and exciting at different galleries around the city. Grab a bus, trolley or car, or even go on foot if there's a participating gallery within walking distance.

Gallery nights are on the third Thursday of the month, and there are more than 25 galleries participating this year, some with celebrity guides. You can visit as many galleries as you want, or just stop into one. With four hours each night, you'll have time to browse or really study the work.

Bear and I went a couple of times last year and really enjoyed it. I'm sure we'll make even more stops this year. There are so many galleries to see, and so much art to enjoy!
