Description: Join the excitement at the Nathanael Greene Homestead Raid on Spell Hall Reenactment on May 6-7, 2017 on their 15 acres in Coventry Rhode Island. There will be authentic Continental and British military camps, musket and cannon demonstration, tours of the completely restored 1770 home of General Nathanael Greene, Spell Hall, a National Historic Landmark and the highlight of each day will be two battles in which Continental Regulars, French and Militia troops will battle British Regulars and Loyalist troops intent on taking the home of George Washington’s second in command and most trusted general. The Nathanael Greene Homestead Raid on Spell Hall Reenactment is a gathering of Revolutionary War reenactors, living historians, and Colonial artisans and craftsmen who recreate and an authentic military encampment and battle on the grounds of Spell Hall, the Historic 1770 Gen. Nathanael Greene Homestead. Meet General Greene, experience Colonial camp-life, music, musket and cannon demonstrations, tour Gen. Greene’s 1770 Homestead and watch continental troops defend Spell Hall from British and loyalist raiders.
Admission: $6 for Adults; $4 for Children/Seniors; $20 Family Admission Cap
All event proceeds to support ongoing education and preservation initiatives; the Gen. Nathanael Greene Homestead Association is a registered 501 (c) 3 domestic non-profit) organization.
