1. Tell us about your work
I'm an artist, musician, hypnotherapist, life coach and Reiki healer. I create hand made spiritual items such as spirit boards, crystal jewelry, organic teas, natural salves and lip balms, paintings, and I offer Reiki healing sessions, tarot card readings, hypnotherapy and life coaching sessions. I became what I would call a Witch at the age of 10, so my artwork, music and spiritual products are greatly influenced by my eccentric path.

2. How did you come to be a professional artist/crafter/designer?
It seems it was just something that I naturally progressed into. I've been a creative person all my life. I first began drawing and writing music as a kid. As a teenager I began creating synthetic dreadlocks and selling and installing them for people I knew. I also started creating digital art with photographs I would take and edit in photoshop which led me to create my own tarot cards. Eventually I joined a band and in addition to being the drummer/programmer, I became the artist for the band, making all of our album and website artwork and creating our t-shirts and other merchandise by hand. A few years ago I was contacted by a local magick shop in Salem, Massachusetts that was just about to open up. They asked if I would be interested in creating and selling magickal items for their shop, especially spirit boards. I loved playing with ouija boards and making my own cardboard ones as a kid, so I just bought some pieces of wood, a woodburner, and started making spirit boards. It was still about 2 years later when I opened my Etsy shop and put some boards up for sale. I just kept getting more and more ideas for creations and it's still going now.

3. Where do you draw your inspiration?
Most of the time, the inspiration seems to strike me out of nowhere and I'll have to immediately start working on it or write down the idea. I also get inspired by other artists, books, music, movies, nature and spirituality.

4. What’s your favorite item to create?
That's a really tough question. I love making my spirit boards, though it's a tedious and long process just to make one, the end result is very satisfying. I also love creating unique tea blends. That's also a long process because I grow many of the herbs myself from seed, but I really enjoy caring for my plants. It's a meditative experience and I often get ideas for different blends while I'm in that zen zone. I really enjoy creating all of my products. Each one makes me happy in a different way.

5. What’s your best seller?
It's really a toss up between the teas and spirit boards right now. The Full Moon tea, Anti-Anxietea and Vitamin C tea are big sellers, but I've also sold many spirit boards of all different designs as well. I am now in school for transpersonal psychology and holistic health and I recently became a certified hypnotherapist so soon I will be offering pre-recorded hypnosis sessions through my Etsy shop. I'm also available for skype and in person sessions and I've worked with quite a few people since becoming a hypnotherapist. People really benefit from the sessions so I'm hoping they will be a big hit in my shop, too.

6. How long have you been in Rhode Island?
I have lived in Rhode Island all of my life (27 years) aside from a few random years where I lived mostly in Massachusetts.

7. What do you {heart} about Rhode Island?
I love the history here. Rhode Island is known for it's haunted attractions and rich vampire history which is fascinating to me. There are so many spooky places to explore! I also love all of the beautiful beaches and hiking areas. We actually experience the change of seasons, too. We get to witness the leaves changing colors in fall, swimming in the ocean during the summer, planting flowers in the spring and playing in the snow in winter. It's really a wonderful place to live.

8. Please include anything else you’d like to add:
Thanks so much for inviting me to be a part of your blog! I am truly grateful and honored.
