1. Tell us about your work
My jewelry making has evolved from simple beaded work to an array of metal forming to a mix of vintage repurposed jewelry. I love to search and rescue old vintage findings into a unique piece that the owner will love and wear all the time.

2. How did you become an artist/jewelry maker?
Good question.
I am a nurse and have been for many years. But my dad was in the jewelry business when the small state of RI was the jewelry capitol of the world! At the start, I made jewelry to relax after a day at work, I made simple pieces that I shared with co-workers and friends. Since then, it has evolved into a passion.

3. Where do you draw your inspiration?
My inspiration. My work is inspired by the simple things in life. Raw metal can be turned into a beautiful original piece of jewelry.

4. What’s your favorite item to create?
My favorite piece to create? It depends. I sit and get inspired by what's in front of me. What I love, is to create something that I didn't know I was going to make.

5. What’s your best seller?
Over the years, I think my best seller has been my Simply Square earring collection. They are simple and can be worn as an everyday earring.

6. How long have you been in Rhode Island?
I have lived in Rhode Island all my life.

7. What do you {heart} about Rhode Island?
I love RI because of its size. You can fully experience so many things here.. the ocean and it's beaches, a great city, and the country life. Such a diverse group of artists live here. I love New England's weather, and the I couldn't live without the four seasons.
