1. Tell us about your work
I create beautiful things for beautiful girls and babies! All of my items are 100% handmade by me in my home studio. The products I feature are headbands, tutus, onesies, and hair clippies; I also make coasters from tile. I just recently invested in an embroidery machine and have become a one stop shop for custom orders!

2. How did you come to be a professional artist/crafter?
I always loved art; even as a child, I never played with Barbies, I always wanted the art sets. Three years ago my fiancé, Justin, really encouraged me to use my creativity, so I started making headbands; they were a hit and my business has since evolved into what it is today!

3. Where do you draw your inspiration?
My mother and her mother have such a green thumb and they love flowers. I have always liked the look of flowers, but never caught the gardening fever the way have; instead I just create wearable floral displays. My family is very supportive of me and I get tons of positive reinforcement, which always helps me want to create more and more. I also love seeing my customers out doing their daily activities wearing my work.

4. What’s your favorite item to make?
Headbands are where I started and they have my heart, though I put love into everything I make. I believe life is too short to spend any time at all doing anything that doesn't make you completely happy.

5. What’s your best seller?
Tutus! They take the most time and they are my most expensive item, but little girls sure do love a framboozled tutu!

6. How long have you been in Rhode Island?
I was born and raised a Rhode Islander, with the accent to prove it!

7. What do you {heart} about Rhode Island?
I heart the small town feel, the "small world", the smell of the ocean, boating, lobstah, the "melting pot" culture, the craft scene, and being so close to, yet feeling so far from everything.
