1. Tell us about your work
I create screenprinted tees, earrings made from pressed flowers, and bracelets made from interesting gemstones. Everything is inspired by science and the natural world. Right now, I am focusing on my screenprinting now. I have 6 different designs, all of which I print on these super-soft fitted tees! I love my shirts.

2. How did you come to be a professional artist/crafter?
After graduating with my masters, I found myself unemployed with not a lot to do other than submitting job applications. I've always loved crafting and this turned out to be the perfect opportunity to chase after my dream of starting my own crafting business!

3. Where do you draw your inspiration?
Nature, definitely. There are so many crazy organisms on this planet that most people (including me) don't even know exist! I love learning about new, strange animals.

4. What’s your favorite item to make?
Right now, I'm loving screenprinting! My favorite part is coming up with the ideas and making the screen, but I like printing too!

5. What’s your best seller?
My 'Darwin is my homeboy' t-shirt, but I think my 'Let's Cuttle' tee featuring cuddling cuttlefish is a close second.

6. How long have you been in Rhode Island?
My family moved here when I was 5 and aside from going to college in NY and DC for grad school, I've been here since then.

7. What do you {heart} about Rhode Island?
All of our little states' quirks! Like our Del's lemonade and coffee milk.

8. Please include anything else you’d like to add:
If you have any feedback about my items or my etsy page or if you even just want to talk strange, but cute animals, drop me an email! . And thank you, I {heart} Rhody!
