1. Tell us about your work.
I create illustrations that are colorful, fun, and sometimes weird that very often feature rabbits and things with tentacles.

2. How did you come to be a professional artist/crafter?
Art has always been a part of my life so it feels like it was inevitable that I would pursue making a living doing what I love to do best.

3. Where do you draw your inspiration?
I have many interests that don't always seem to mix but I think that makes things much more interesting. Besides the obvious influences from nature I'm really into making maps right now. I love antique maps! The creatures that occupy space on them are so cool especially sea monsters.

4. What’s your favorite item to make?
I recently started making ornaments and figures out of polymer clay and I'm really having fun with them. They have been getting a great response. I think I like making flying squirrels the best.

5. What’s your best seller?
My maps have been my most popular sellers.

6. How long have you been in Rhode Island?
My husband, my dog and I moved here about 2 years ago. It's a great place for artists.

7. What do you {heart} about Rhode Island?
Wild bunnies chasing each other during the Summer in my neighborhood.

8. Please include anything else you’d like to add:
I really appreciate all of the people who support small local artists like me. We couldn't do what we love without them.
